The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced a second round of funding awards for connected health projects. More than $41 million in funding has been granted to 72 organizations to provide communications support to enable telehealth services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This will allow people to stay connected to their healthcare providers from the comfort of home.
