Following his transition from President earlier this year, Executive Director of Channel Partnerships Tom Witter officially announced his retirement from leading-edge healthcare software company Virtual Benefits Administrator (VBA) today after more than 15 years of service.
Mr. Witter was one of the original partners of VBA’s parent company and has guided the company’s growth and development since its beginning. Among his many contributions, Mr. Witter initiated projects that evolved into today’s Real-Time Claims Payment (RTCP), as well as spearheading other major programs for VBA.
“Tom has been an integral part of VBA since its inception.” said Michael Clayton, Chief Executive Officer & President of VBA. “His stewardship and creativity have led to the company’s strong position in the industry and we are thankful for his years of dedication to VBA.”
During Mr. Witter’s tenure, VBA has grown from a fledgling software division to its own company boasting a robust portfolio of solutions for benefits administration, including VBASoftware, VBAGateway, VBAMobile, VBAnalytics, VBAVoice, and VBARx. He has led the company’s efforts to build strong relationships with many of its partners and clients and its commitment to developing real solutions to the problems faced by healthcare payers.
